We offer custom signs in metal, plastic, acrylic, and vinyl materials for a range of applications and to suit different mounting preferences.
Usually no most signs can usually be designed in a maximum of 1 hour. After 1 hour we do charge for computer time. All our custom signs, designer and otherwise, can be personalized at no extra charges. The price of your sign will usually depend on factors such as the material you choose, size, quantity, etc.
You can email us with your requirements and/or share your art for the sign and our team will gladly take it forward from there.
If you cancel your custom sign order before production has begun, we may be able to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee cancellation. Once a custom order reaches the factory floor, we cannot issue any refunds. Orders usually reach the factory floor within 48 hours of request.
We do not have any separate shipping charges for custom orders. Our shipping costs are based on carrier, shipping speed, weight, and distance. We do not charge any handling fees either. You may get an estimate of the shipping charges applicable for your order during check out.
Because of variations in monitor calibrations, the colors you see on your computer screen might not always match the colors in your printed materials.
Our ink is UV resistant for up to 3 years. Our vinyl material is outdoor durable for 3-5 years. For severe climate conditions, we suggest using aluminum.
Try using a photograph of the best quality you have available. If using an image from your camera, take the picture at the highest setting the camera provides. If scanning a picture, set your scanning software to scan at 300dpi.
Your file must be less than 20MB in size and one of the following file types: EPS, JPG, TIF, BMP, GIF, PNG.
One way to see the quality of your image is to open it in a image viewer (if you don't have one of these, you can use the BuildASign.com™ design tool). Zoom in on the image, or enlarge it a great deal, and see if the image is very grainy. This is a good indication of a poor quality image. In general, it is good practice to find the highest quality image you can.
